This morning the National Geographic Endeavour II anchored at the northern point of Santa Cruz Island, where we started our day with a nice hike to look for land iguanas. After this activity, we got ready to explore an islet, doing some snorkeling surrounded by marine life.

Back onboard for lunch, we were treated to a traditional Ecuadorian buffet, where we learned to eat ceviche as the locals do.  Afterwards, we had the opportunity to do some kayaking around the area, allowing us to spot many pelicans, blue-footed boobies, lava gulls, and more.  After dinner, the sky was clear and not over cast, so we had perfect conditions to see the constellations in the sky and sharks in the water!
