The morning dawned bright and clear at our anchorage off Isla Magdalena. As we did the day before, we had an option of hiking on the nearby island or joining a whale watching excursion in our Zodiacs. There were still many gray whales for us to watch, and we were able to approach many of them very closely for excellent photographs.
After we returned to the ship for lunch we hoisted the anchor and headed out to the Pacific en route to our next stop at Cabo San Lucas.
