This photograph was taken looking out over Margerie Glacier. We picked up our Park Service ranger the evening before entering the national park, giving us the opportunity to sail all night and be at the glaciers' front by dawn.
Little did we know that on this beautifully clear morning in Glacier Bay we would see five separate brown bears before lunch. Will there be any excitement left for the rest of the trip? Tune in later for an update.
