Fernandina
Temperature of the water 66 degrees, windy, cool air, light. Very sunny and hot, all six giant volcanoes around us were completely clear and open. Latitude: we cross the equator line with elegance. After almost three months away from the Galapagos, today was my welcome day. Fernandina Island is the most beautiful spot on Earth…
It’s been six weeks since my newborn baby Alex came to my home, and I can say that this afternoon in Fernandina, I felt him very close to me. I think the air, and the lava landscapes and the whole atmosphere and light of this place, brings the best feelings to you. As we were walking among coral sands and the black basalt, there were few words to say. Everything seemed to come by itself from the island. I took lots of pictures of the island for you, but in the end I chose one with a person on it, because I think that we people really blend well with nature, and in our hearts we all want and search for the same thing: peace and harmony.
One of our Zodiac riders got as excited as the rest of us on the spotting of a Galapagos fur sea lion, and we all celebrated!
