Bartolome Island
This week we had a fantastic trip on the Polaris. Every day we discovered a great experience on the islands. This morning we started very early to hike to one of the most beautiful young volcanos that we visited on our trip. We walked to the top of the volcano and the view from there was fantastic. We returned to our ship, and Erasmo, our Hotel Manager was waiting to invite us to an excellent breakfast on the teak deck, where we could enjoy the ocean view. After breakfast, we had different activities such as the glass-bottom boat, snorkeling, or an optional walk to the other side of the island. Some of our guests chose the walk, and I went with them to the second beach. It was something special because the beach has nice cream-colored sand, and we saw many different creatures such as sea lions, marine turtles and penguins right there in the shallow water. Our guests really enjoyed every minute on the island and the beautiful weather helped us to have a fabulous week.
