Another fabulous day was spent amongst the scenery and wildlife of the West Falklands. We visited two very different islands. Beaver, with longer walks, great scenery, varied critters, and cool flowers. New Island was focused on an incredible nesting spot for albatross, penguins, and cormorants.
These windswept islands have a long history dating back hundreds of years. Signs of sheep grazing and shipwrecks are everywhere, as are penguins, geese, flowering ground cover, and black-browed albatross. Our days in the Falklands are over and too soon it was time for our departure and our final day at sea back to where it all began nearly three weeks ago.
