Today we continued our exploration of this incredible archipelago. Our first stop today was Dragon Hill, a great spot to find many seabirds as well as shorebirds such as herons and whimbrels. There is also a brackish water lagoon slightly inland, where we often seen flamingos, sea gulls, sand pipers and common stilts. Our morning was magical, avid natural history walkers and photographers were so excited to encounter all of these creatures in one single spot. In the afternoon, we moved around Daphne, an islet that is isolated by wind currents, where a very famous scientist Peter Grunt conducts his studies of evolutions at a very high level, examinig the fastest evolutions on earth that occur in the local finches.
