Kerri McAllister

Kerri strives to provide transdisciplinary educational opportunities that inspire curiosity, promote inquiry, and catalyze action. Throughout her work, Kerri strives to codesign learning environments where justice and equity are valued and centered. She is a passionate lifelong learner and educator who embraces the world as her classroom.

As an environmental educator for twenty years, she has worked at NatureBridge in California, Shelburne Farms in Vermont, Wolf Ridge Environmental Learning Center in Minnesota, The Chewonki Foundation in Maine, and Kenai National Wildlife Refuge in Alaska.Kerri has also led international student travel programs around the globe. She was a Grosvenor Teacher Fellow in 2016 and traveled to Norway and Arctic Svalbard to further her climate studies.  She currently facilitates professional learning for educators and convenes networks focused on climate change and sustainability.

Kerri holds a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Studies from the University of Vermont; a Masters in Education from University of Minnesota Duluth and is currently writing her dissertation on transformative approaches to climate change education to complete her PhD from the University of Wisconsin Stevens Point.
