Amanda Clare
Born near Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, Amanda always followed her own path and pursued whatever piqued her interests and pushed her limits. She earned two B.A. degrees, one in history, one international studies, from Lycoming College in Williamsport, Pennsylvania. Upon graduation, she was commissioned into the United States Army, and while stationed overseas, Amanda traveled extensively and cultivated her love of adventure and exploration.
She subsequently worked as a park ranger in Pennsylvania’s state parks where she expanded her love of nature and outdoor activities. Amanda has experience working and living in austere environments and has trained and worked with U.S. Special Operations units overseas.
Amanda also holds a B.S. degree in marine science from East Stroudsburg University, which included studying reef ecology in the Mesoamerican Barrier Reef System. Her love for diving has sent her from the cold waters of the northeastern U.S. to the beautiful Great Barrier Reef, and she is ready for adventures anywhere in between. Amanda resides in northeast Pennsylvania and spends her free time traveling, volunteering as a master scuba diver, and fulfilling her obligations as a military officer.
